They are held in place by a nice snug fit so you don’t have to remove the screws from the speaker, but you may purchase the chrome speaker trim ring part # 74584-99 to ad style and cover the edges. Kuryakyn also sells different styles of chrome trim that will work also. These fit on the outside of the factory black cloth mesh so you don’t have to remove the factory mesh.
